Summer Vacation (part 3)

Here's proof of all our fun!
I had a photo shoot of my nephew. Two months old. Adorable!

 Just celebrated 9 years!

CB just loves babies!
We all went to Minnetonka Cave. It was pretty cold and there was a whole lot of steps. The kids were quite the troopers.

Here's my mother's family's cabin on the lake. Cutest thing ever!

We went to church with Grandpa Great, then headed to his house to check out the goat. CB wasn't so sure about the goats....

Bob. haha, he cracks me up!
We had a glorious time. Is it time to go back yet?!

Summer Vacation (part 2)

We stayed in this beauty for my family's reunion.
It was awesome.

We "tried" to get some family pictures......

 This ones my favorite:

 And ALL together...
 Yes, we're a bit crazy!

 The 6 kids.
Numbered grandkids. So cute!

Only four grandgirls. Each family only has one girl- thus far!

Summer Vacation (part 1)

We took a detour on our way to Bear Lake to Rexburg! We hadn't been back since we left---8 years ago! The drive was long, but the kids did great! It started off with Jeromy and the kids tricking me (at the gas station) that the keys were locked in the car. Funny...

We got to town just in time for some good 'ol Full House. We ordered in "Fongs" chinese food. It was fabulous, just as we had remembered it to be.
Of course we had to hit the pool.
 And then some ice cream!
The kids really had to humor us the next day. Jeromy and I just wanted to walk around all day. The kids just wanted to be at Bear Lake. Here is my old stomping grounds- I lived in the Colonial House.
Jer was excited to see the gardens. He worked there the summer we were dating, and his classes did some work there too. But while we were there, the gardens were considered "under construction". So it was fun to go see it all completed.
We also had to go see our first apartment. Still ghetto! Apt #7
We walked around campus for as long as the kids would let us. Here is the library-3rd floor, where Jer first asked me out.

 Outside the Spori Building.
 In the greenhouse.
 In the gardens.

The temple had been announced while Jer and I were married. They started building the stake center first, so we never got to see any part of the building of the temple. It was pretty breath taking. It's soo gorgeous, and sits right there on the top of the hill.

We also had to sneak in some time to go to Monkey Rock. This is where Jer proposed :)
After he proposed, his roomies shot fireworks off just behind the waterfall.
We played there for awhile, it's a pretty strong waterfall- Bug was bummed she couldn't jump off!
After jumping off the waterfall, Jer had to try the bridge too.
And me, well...someone had to watch the kids....!
We had a great time visiting Rexburg. Well worth the extra traveling. The next afternoon we headed down south to meet up with family.
