A Bushel and a Peck

 Here's THE CUTEST KIDS EVER!

I was asked to have Bug perform an act between the Roadshow acts that our Stake put on. I even got CJ to participate!

 I wish I would have taken a picture of them together, closer up. I totally forgot. It wouldn't be worth the fight to get them dressed up again for a picture :)

 Here they are enjoying the rest of the Roadshow (3 hours long!). The YM and YW did a great job!

Happenings

 My little second grader is one fiesty two square player, she'll give you a run for your money. She's also doing very well in school, third in her class. She is pretty open about the two boys she likes, and has even told them so. I'm not sure what to think of that......

 There's no lack of silliness around here.

 Bug's permanent teeth are coming in with something called hypopalasia. It is pretty bad on her molars coming in. My princess already has her first crown :)

Half Marathon!

13 miles for 2013!!!

 I did it! I finally did it!!

I became interested in running a half marathon when we lived in Denver. They had a workout center there and I started running. After Grad School I then got pregnant and had lost it all. But I still had some motivation left in me to try!

 This summer I bought a really cheap (and very quircky) treadmill on craigslist and that got me running again. Finally in January I made up a goal to do the TriCities Half. That way I wouldn't have to travel and it was two months away, I figured it was close enough I could do it and not get distracted. Although I didn't know if my weird treadmill would actually train me all the way up to the big day, I didn't way to pay until knew I could do it. But I did it. I kind of hurt my knee two weeks before, but I toughed though it and completed my goal. And it feels good.

Did I mention it was crazy cold, super windy and at 8 AM?!!!!

 This bottom pic I think is funny. It was right before the finish line and a guy from our ward was running up to me to cheer me on. But he kind of scared me a little!

Basketball

 Bug played Parks and Recreation basketball again this year. It was a 1st and 2nd grade team. They played all the other 1st and 2nd grade elementary schools. She had 6 games. She improved a lot from last year and this year really seemed to shine.

 Last year she only scored 2 baskets in one game of all the 6 games. This year she scored 4 baskets in one game! And she scored at least once in every game!

 The coach gave them cute little cookies that looked like them and had their jersey number!

It was a great year. Bring on 3rd and 4th grade basketball next year...eeeek!
