Happy Halloweeeen!

Halloween festivities always include Country Mercantile. It's always lots of fun! CJ also got to go with his kindergarten class this year, he was extra spoiled.

Happy 30th Birthday to me. Jer got me a facial and a microderm thing. My first ever! It will happen next week during the middle of our move!

This year I had a Mavis (from Hotel Transylvania--a vampire) a skunk and a Yoshi!

We went trick or treating with friends. Then headed over to my parents ward's trunk or treat.

And yes, they got plenty of candy.

Flag Football

 We put CJ in flag football this fall. It was just 6 Saturday mornings. He didn't really care much for it, until..on his last day....scored a touchdown!!!! Check out the video.

 Thanks for Jer's dad, we have had lots and lots of apples this fall. Which makes for a delish apple pie!

 Grass sledding. Kids and neighbors love it. Parents, not so much!

Bug's Baptism

 Here was Bug's baptism invitation. I love how they turned out.

It was quite the busy day! The night before Jer's brothers family (4 kids!) came down and stayed the night. The next morning we were assigned to clean the church at 8 am. CJ had flag football at 9. Bug and I then went in to the chapel to pracitce her song and then set up the multi purpose room and finished the refreshments. We went home, changed and were supposed to be back at the church at 10:15. The service was at 11. There were 5 other kids who got baptized from our stake. They were all girls. My mother spoke on baptism. She was fabulous, as always! Because there were so many people we had to start in the chapel and then do shifts when it was time to baptize. Then we finished in the chapel. After they were all baptized and changed Bug sang a solo- a surprise for Jer- the song was "When I Am Baptized". She did such a good job! After we went to the Bishop's office for her confirmation. THEN, to the muli purpose room for refreshements. 

Bug was a lucky girl. She had lots of friends and cousins there. All her primary teachers and home teachers were there also! It was a great day!
