Happy Birthday CJ!

My birthday boy decided this year he wanted Star Wars!

Unfortunately he got sick for a week and we had to reschedule his party! Poor thing has a bad stomach bug that seemed to last forever. On his invitation I put a pixie stick over the light saber.

We had borrowed a fog machine and strobe light and that gave some nice effects. We had that going when all the kids got there. It was a nice hit. We passed out light sabers to all the kids and then began our Jedi Training. After Princess Leia trained, she then knighted them and gave them certificates.

Now they were all ready for battle. First they each battled Darth Maul.
Next, they had to defeat Darth Vader.
aka Dad :)

This is when my camera stopped working. After winning Darth Vader, he took them into the garage where they had to win General Grievous- the pinata. Following that we had cake and ice cream and then played pin the light saber on yoda. We also fit dinner in there too :) It was fabulously fun!

Christmas!

Of course we had to do the annual "invite a friend" and make decorate graham crackers.
Ouch! The soft ottoman did this to Carter.
The Sunday before Christmas we hosted the Riggs family get together. We ate and ate and ate Chinese food. And then went to town on presents!

Jeromy's older sister and her family stayed the night. The kids love having buddies stay the night!

My older brother was in town for Christmas. His oldest son had his 9th birthday, and loves seahawks. So this is the cake I came up with. The football is done out of a balloon,
which had some money in it.
Christmas Eve is spent opening jammies. Here are my cuties!

We spent the rest of Christmas being silly,
smiling lots,
talking to family,
and napping!

Merry Christmas 2012

Santa Sittin'

The YM and YW put on a little Christmas activity. It included games, cookies and Santa sitting! Here they are waiting in line.

I have a feeling Cole maybe getting coal for Christmas.
He was not a Santa fan.
All they could figure out they wanted for Christmas was Stompeez (those are overpriced slippers!)
