Bug Basketball

 My sister in law warned me that basketball sign ups were ending right as we were moving. I figured it would be a good test to see if I could handle all the driving to practices and games. It's a half hour to get to E. Bug was on a 3rd/4th grade team. And it seemed to be they were the littlest team, height wise. Bug, as always, can hold her own. She did very well this year and is a really good dribbler.

 I didn't get very many good pictures.... obviously.

New Adventures

 We are farm folk now (whether I want to be or not). So here's what we've been up to, other than unpacking, painting, and trying to stay warm!

Everything else I haven't taken pictures of: pigs, pigs and more pigs, shooting bee bee guns, swings, rope climbing, hiking to a cave, scouting bones, climbing hay stacks,cousins and driving 45 minutes to church!!!

DIsney on Ice

 Before we moved we got 5 free tickets to Disney on Ice! It was fabulous! So each kid got to bring a friend. Bug brought Madisyn and CJ brought Teagan. It was a fun thing to do with their friends before we had to move away!

BIRTHDAY BOY!

 Right after we moved our little cutie turned two! So no parties here, we have no friends :(

 He did have a good birthday though, he was in chooo chooo heaven!

 I still haven't made it to the doctor to get his current stats. Between moving, Obamacare happening, holidays, and having to switch insurance companies-- I have yet to get it done!

I realize it's taken me a month and a half to blog this and it's amazing how much I feel like he has changed! Here's a little about Coley--

*loves choo choo's
*loves curious george- he refers to it as "eew eew aahh ahh"
*sleeps well for naps and at night
*has 12 teeth
*has been pretty quiet, he's finally starting to say things
*first word was mommy
* calls our kitty "deedledee" and loves to hug her
* says "bonay" for different things, especially when something is broken
*love loves loves his choo choo blanket. rubs his face on the red soft corners
*runs his tongue across his lips to say "leela" (lydia)
*loves his papa (says it ALL the time!)
*likes nursery, but has to be sad when we drop him off
*likes to swing...but NOT too high
*got a remote control car for christmas and was in heaven!
*he used to always sing  to the tune of "twinkle twinkle"
* won't say his brothers name!!
He's always making us laugh and we we love our woley oley!

Happy Halloweeeen!

Halloween festivities always include Country Mercantile. It's always lots of fun! CJ also got to go with his kindergarten class this year, he was extra spoiled.

Happy 30th Birthday to me. Jer got me a facial and a microderm thing. My first ever! It will happen next week during the middle of our move!

This year I had a Mavis (from Hotel Transylvania--a vampire) a skunk and a Yoshi!

We went trick or treating with friends. Then headed over to my parents ward's trunk or treat.

And yes, they got plenty of candy.

Flag Football

 We put CJ in flag football this fall. It was just 6 Saturday mornings. He didn't really care much for it, until..on his last day....scored a touchdown!!!! Check out the video.
